Early Summer at The Cut Flower Garden
As we move from spring into early summer, the flower farm begins to shift into something really special. The first meadow flowers start to appear, the perennials come into their own and there’s a real sense of abundance building week by week.
This time of year is all about slowing down, noticing what’s growing and enjoying the simple pleasure of being surrounded by flowers.
Here’s what’s coming up over the early summer months at The Cut Flower Garden.
May Workshops
Alison demonstrating a Hand Tied Bouquet
10th May - Meadow Flowers – Make a Hand Tied Bouquet
Join me on the farm to pick your own bucket of seasonal meadow flowers, then learn how to turn them into a natural, hand-tied bouquet. This workshop is all about working with what’s growing right now and creating something loose, relaxed and beautiful to take home.
17th May - Early Summer Perennial Planting
An in-depth look at summer perennials that are ideal for cut flowers. We’ll explore what to grow, how to grow it and how to get the best from your plants throughout the season. You’ll also leave with a few plants to get started at home.
