The Flower Garden Retreat 25th/26th July 2026

£300.00

The Flower Garden Retreat

10am for 10.30 start on the Saturday until 8.30pm.

10am start on the Sunday until 4pm.

Two days of seasonal flowers, food and slow creativity.

Step out of the everyday and into the flower garden.

The Flower Garden Retreat is a non-residential weekend held at The Cut Flower Garden, created for those who long to slow down, work with their hands and be immersed in flowers and nature.

Over two gentle days, you’ll harvest seasonal blooms, learn practical flower skills and create beautiful pieces to take home. The retreat includes lunch on both days and a shared dinner on Saturday evening, offering time to connect, unwind and enjoy being part of a small, like-minded group.

This is not a fast-paced floristry course or a structured wellness retreat. It is an invitation to be present, to create slowly and to be held by the rhythm of the garden.

What the weekend includes

  • Cutting and conditioning flowers in the garden

  • Creating a hand-tied bouquet using seasonal blooms

  • A willow making activity using natural materials

  • Making a dried flower wreath

  • All flowers, materials and tools provided

  • Lunch on both days and dinner on Saturday evening

  • All the items you create are yours to take home

The flow of the weekend

Saturday — Gathering & Creating

You’ll begin by harvesting flowers in the garden and learning how to condition them for longevity. After lunch, you’ll create a hand-tied bouquet, followed by a relaxed willow-making session later in the afternoon. The day closes with a shared evening meal.

Saturday evening meal — your hosts will serve a vegetarian buffet style meal

Sunday — Reflecting & Preserving

Sunday is slower and more reflective. You’ll work with dried flowers to create a wreath, enjoy a final lunch together and gently close the weekend, leaving with practical skills and a sense of calm.

Refreshments all weekend — A selection of hot and cold drinks, biscuits and cakes will be available during the day. The Flower Barn at The Cut Flower Garden holds a current five star food hygiene rating.
